He originally went to Norton College and then went on to Manchester University, where he didn't get on very well at University. He originally got into photography and realized his love for photography when he borrowed his friends camera. Then a Comedian came along who he would really love to meet and made Chris realises he would love to photograph him, and went out to do some photography of the Comedian.
This photo of David Linch is Chris Saunders Favourite picture, this took him years to get the chance to photograph though. As every year he would right a letter to see if he could get the chance to photograph him. It was worth the wait though as the photo's were taken on the hotel balcony but they were used all over Europe on Billboards, posters etc.
Tim Robbins who's a Hollywood Actor and country music, was another person Chris Saunders Photographed. This time though he only had 1 and half minute to photograph him.He has also photographed many other bands, singers and actors, such as the band 'Wet Nuns' which only used two lights but has an effective effect on the picture, Illusionist Derren Brown which is where he took strict attention to the background of the picture which had Conversion lines leading to the subject, like leading lines.
Musician Steven uses a loop pedal and violin for his music so he wanted something out the ordinary something similar to crucion photography
who is a surreal photographer. The actual picture was took in the backgarden of his home with a mysterious figure in the background and lights round the garden which once they set up, it started raining so had to cover everything which gave a good glowing effect on the floor when photographed.This was the most complicated photo Chris has taken, he also edited the final smoke and exposure in on photoshop.
